With simple skateboarding shoes including grippy vulcanised models, sturdy cupsoles, and a balanced offering of low and high-top and t-shirts, hoodies and caps featuring the brand’s trademark ‘Triple Triangle’ motif – we’ve got a selection of HUF Worldwide products for any need available at Division 24 Skate Store.
Founded by Real Skateboards’ legend Keith Hufnagel, his eponymous brand began in 2002 as a boutique store in 2002. Originally serving a traditional skate shop whilst also catering to those seeking lesser seen streetwear brands, HUF began to produce their own apparel collection which organically grew over the next decade. By 2011, the brand to moved on from bricks and mortar retail and became dedicated to solely producing quality footwear and clothing.
Dan Plunkett, Josh Matthews, Joey Pepper and Brad Cromer made up the initial HUF footwear team - all of which have remained loyal to the brand to this day. In 2013, HUF delivered a surprising power move with the addition of Team Handsome powerhouses Austyn Gillette and Dylan Rieder to the team. Rejecting the offers of big bucks from corporate companies, and admiring Huf’s grassroots approach, Austyn spoke of the decision to join HUF Worldwide in an interview with Sidewalk Magazine in 2015: “You could trust a guy like that when you talk to him. You’re not weary or hesitant of his promises or anything that he has to offer you. You know it’s honest and genuine.”
The two received debut pro models, both taking influence from dress shoes, which has served to enforce HUF’s willingness to take on daring designs and use an eclectic base for inspiration within their footwear. From the vintage look of the Hupper Low and Hupper High, the Galaxy which nods to the lines of football-shoes and drawing on classic detailing throughout the history of skateboarding, HUF Worldwide covers all bases with a bespoke touch.
